Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Haridwar to Sari Village
- Start your adventure with a drive from Haridwar to Sari Village, the base of the trek.
- On the way, enjoy the beautiful hills, rivers, and valleys of Uttarakhand.
- After arriving in Sari Village, you’ll check into your guesthouse, relax, and enjoy the evening surrounded by nature.
- If you wish, you can take a short walk around the village to experience local life.
- The night will be spent here, gearing up for the trek ahead.
Day 2: Sari Village to Tunganath Temple and Back to Chopta
- Begin your day with an early breakfast, and start your trek from Sari Village to Tunganath Temple.
- The trail takes you through dense forests, where the beauty of the surroundings will keep you energized.
- Tunganath is a sacred temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located at 3,680 meters, making it the highest Shiva temple in the world.
- After visiting the temple, continue your hike to the Chandrashila summit (3,990 meters), which offers panoramic views of the Himalayas.
- From here, you’ll return to Chopta to rest for the night.
Day 3: Chopta to Sari Village and Drive Back to Haridwar
- After breakfast, take a relaxed descent back to Sari Village.
- Once you reach the village, you’ll be driven back to Haridwar.
- Enjoy the scenic drive through the hills, reflecting on the breathtaking views you’ve experienced and the memories you’ve made.
- By evening, you’ll arrive in Haridwar, completing your trek.
Day 4: Departure from Haridwar
- The trip ends with breakfast in Haridwar.
- If you wish to explore the holy town, you can visit Har Ki Pauri or enjoy a peaceful moment by the Ganges River before you head home.
- Your adventure concludes here with beautiful memories of your trek through the Uttarakhand Himalayas.
